Wintertime, nearly

Three Little Duck's favourite weather pattern has rolled around this week and will stay for the Glebe Markets this weekend. We'll be there Saturday from 10 am until 4 pm if you'd like to come see us.

It’ll be sunny but fairly cold and will prompt at least half of the Three Little Ducks partnership to watch some rugby at The Nag's Head Hotel afterward.

Finalists! (yay)

Thanks to everyone who voted for our dress and jacket in the BurdaStyle.com and Tessuti Fabrics competition. They've both been selected to compete in the Melbourne Stitches and Craft Show and will be on the runway each day at 12.10 pm between the 5th and 9th of May. If you're in Melbourne, go along and have a look at some of the new designers .

Remember to vote for the Three Little Ducks white ruffle dress and striped cuff jacket!

In Store Now!

All this talk of birds, ducks and quacking... you'd be forgiven for thinking... are we obsessed? No, not really, but we have a cute little feather capelet in store now for a steal! See below teamed with our Cigar Racer singlet.  More photos in store too. So soft!

Burda Style / Tessuti Competition

The Stitches and Craft Show is coming up in Melbourne in May.  Tessuti and Burda Style released a competition to alter and create a garment. Three Little Ducks - (Kath!) - entered a white dress and black jacket.

Check them out below; feel free to vote in the competition here.

Welcome to The Quack

Even the serious fashion cynic can find him or herself in unconscious appreciation of a tailored shirt and aware of its persuasive influence on both wearer and observer.

The clothes we wear of course surround us and, if we accept Alain De Botton’s notion that, for better or worse, we are different people depending on our surrounds, we should resist the gauche and embrace skillful design and construction in fabric and clothes.

We use 100% cotton, 100% silk, wool blends, knits.  The focus is on quality and simplicity, with details provided through the use of layers and textured fabrics.  Use of pleats, gathers, hand-crafted trims and hand stitching enhances "the basic", in the creation of elegant, well-crafted pieces.

We hope you enjoy our posts and look forward to any responses or comments you’d like to make. We’ll post playlists, thoughts on new collections, music, films, books and anything else that comes to mind. We’ll also notify you of the markets we’re attending. For those we’ve seen there, we’d love to see you again and, for those we haven’t, we hope to see you there.
